Head of the Hemodialysis Unit
Kholikov Alisher Yusupovich

doctor Endocrinologist-Detoxicologist first category.

Hemodialysis - a method of extrarenal blood purification in acute and chronic renal failure.

The Hemodialysis Department of the RSNPMC Endocrinology was founded in 2012. The department provides specialized medical care patients with chronic renal failure.

During hemodialysis, toxic metabolic products are removed from the body, normalization of water and electrolyte balance.

The priority area of the dialysis unit is renal replacement therapy. Variety of applied techniques and modern equipment make it possible to make dialysis treatment programs most adapted to the patient's condition, as individualized as possible.

In the dialysis department, treatment is carried out using standard hemodialysis methods (the department is equipped with artificial kidney machines). We conduct more than 5000 (five thousand) programmed hemodialysis sessions per year.

It is used when it is necessary to cleanse the blood from substances harmful to the body in it in the following pathological conditions:
  • Acute renal failure;
  • Chronic renal failure;
  • Poisoning with poisons and drugs (capable of passing through the hemodialysis membrane);
  • Severe violations of the electrolyte composition of the blood;
  • Alcohol poisoning;
  • Life-threatening hyperhydration (pulmonary edema, cerebral edema, etc.) that cannot be removed by conservative therapy. Isolated ultrafiltration is more commonly used.
