With the support of the Republican Center for Endocrinology, unique surgical interventions will be introduced in the regions
It would not be an exaggeration to say that the past year was fruitful for the staff of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Center of Endocrinology. This is confirmed by the results achieved in various fields.
Thus, 59 new methods of treatment and diagnostics were introduced in the center, 132 in regions, 4 in district hospitals.
In recognition of such achievements, this institution was awarded special certificates for the implementation of international quality standards ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 7101:2023.
“As a result of the measures taken, the number of people who came to us from the regions was halved last year,” says Anvar Alimov, director of this institution. - Now to improve these results we set tasks related to bringing specialized medical care closer to the population, prevention and early detection of diseases, introduction of targeted screening examinations, increasing the scientific potential of specialists, attracting innovative technologies to the sphere.
1) Firstly, 6 new methods of diagnostics and treatment will be introduced, which were not previously used in district (city) hospitals.
Together with local surgeons, we will establish operations for treatment of purulent complications of diabetes mellitus, thyroid surgeries, liposuction in 16 districts and cities.
Our regional branches will master 8 new methods of diagnosis and treatment.
2) Secondly, while the staff of district medical associations are improving their knowledge in the center, 14 specialists of the branches and 8 specialists of the center are improving their qualification in prestigious clinics abroad. In addition, special advanced training courses will be held for 335 district-level endocrinologists.
3) Thirdly, in order to improve the provision of specialized medical care, 2 districts and cities from each region, 28 districts and cities in total, will be transformed into model regions.
It is planned to attract 10 specialists from Russia, Turkey, Great Britain and Germany to exchange experience, conduct master classes, introduce new technologies, conduct medical examinations and surgeries in the regions.
4) Fourthly, based on the corresponding program of Germany and the Russian Federation, the “National School of Therapeutic Education of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Patients” will be launched in 208 district medical institutions.
5) Fifth, within the framework of cooperation, screening for early detection of diabetes mellitus and prediabetes among the population over 40 years of age will be carried out, as well as dispensary monitoring of patients diagnosed with this disease.
6) Sixth, we aim to double the number of foreign patients admitted to our center and double the number of patients in the regions.
7) Seventh, special attention will be paid to digital and innovative technologies, telemedicine and remote consultation programs.
The center's team has both the potential and technical capacity to accomplish these ambitious tasks.
