Abduraimov, endocrinologist of Surkhandarya Regional Endocrinology Dispensary. U.B. Zharkurgan district 28 OP organized medical examination, during which the population underwent endocrinological examination.
The endocrinologist of the dispensary examined 60 residents, 4 people with type 2 diabetes, 5 people with obesity and 3 people with diffuse obesity were identified for the first time and sent for “D”-control to the district endocrinologist.
Four identified diabetic patients were prescribed medications to reduce blood sugar levels and given nutritional recommendations according to the 9-table diet.
Five obese patients were counseled and given the necessary recommendations to walk 5,000 to 10,000 steps per day, lose weight, follow a healthy diet and continuously monitor blood sugar levels and have a medical check-up every 6 months.
