Ministry of Health: A comprehensive approach is important in the prevention and treatment of diseases
A scientific-practical conference on “Multidisciplinary approach to prevention, early detection and treatment of endocrine diseases in primary health care system” was held today in Nukus city.
Speaking at the event, Minister of Health of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Murad Kurbanov and Director of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Endocrinology Anvar Alimov stressed the importance of establishing disease prevention at the primary level and cooperation between doctors of different specialties.
Leading specialists in the field of endocrinology, therapists, nutritionists, representatives of the health care system discussed modern problems and effective methods of fighting endocrine diseases at the event.
It is emphasized that early diagnosis of diseases and screening of the population are the best ways of their timely treatment and prevention of complications.
It is known that endocrine diseases such as diabetes and obesity continue to pose a serious threat to public health.
