Specialists from the Republican Endocrinology Center and Tashkent Regional Endocrinology Dispensary made a business trip to Ahangaran district and city to study endocrine service and screening work in primary care and provide practical assistance.
In order to study the work carried out within the framework of Presidential Decree #PP-102, activity of medical teams based on Order #97 of the Minister of Health, introduction of algorithm of screening of population over 40 years old for diabetes by family doctors and medical doctors, as well as to provide practical assistance, curator of RSNPMCE D.A.Aliyeva and curators of the Dispensary visited MTPs and SPs of Ahangaran district and city.
Specialists trained 46 family doctors and district nurses on prevention of endocrine diseases in primary health care system, population examination for their early detection and treatment, the most important aspects of diabetes mellitus diagnostics, rules of healthy lifestyle.
