The seminar was organized by an endocrinologist from Tashkent Oblast Endocrinology Department for medical workers working in medical teams of the Akkurgan district. During the training sessions, 56 family physicians received training and recommendations on the criteria for diagnosing diabetes mellitus in men undergoing screening, referral of patients with diabetes to an endocrinologist, as well as on filling out the screening questionnaire for nurses and practical nurses, correct assessment and analysis of indicators, and provision of correct recommendations on the results of scoring.
It was also confirmed that the endocrinologist's office conducts examinations of endocrine patients under the control of “D”, there is a sufficient number of medicines, national protocols have been established, screening work is carried out correctly in KVP “MADANIYAT”, there is an electronic register and patronage questionnaires in outpatient cards.
