In the city of Yangiyul, Tashkent region, in order to provide practical assistance in endocrine activity, activities were carried out with the participation of senior researcher of the Republican Center of Endocrinology, Candidate of Medical Sciences Alieva D.A. and specialist of the Endocrinological Dispensary Rakhmanov R.Sh. Medical examination of 300 pupils of 8 schools of Yangiyul city was conducted for early detection of endocrine diseases. Of these, 16 endocrine diseases were detected for the first time in children, who were referred to the district endocrinologist.

A training seminar on diabetes screening, treatment and care of diabetes, obesity and healthy lifestyle was also organized for 20 family doctors and 40 patronage nurses of the district.

The purpose of such events is to further develop endocrine activities in the primary health care system with the involvement of experienced specialists from the republic and the region, to improve the knowledge and skills of health workers, to prevent the occurrence of endocrine diseases, to achieve early diagnosis and effective treatment.
