From January 12 to 14, 2026, practical events were held under the leadership of T.T. Kamalov, MD, Head of the Reconstructive Plastic Surgery Department at the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Endocrinology named after Academician E.Kh. Turakulov, and in collaboration with staff from the Center's branch in the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
The events were organized in the cities of Nukus, Amu Darya, and Beruni. Interactive training sessions were held for family physicians and visiting nurses aimed at providing appropriate patient counseling on six main endocrine diseases, and printed treatment regimens were distributed.
Meetings were also held with the heads of medical associations in each district and city, where treatment regimens for endocrine diseases were presented and explanatory work was carried out to ensure their full implementation in practice.

The state of the clinics' logistics was assessed with the aim of conducting comprehensive diabetes screening. Additionally, outreach efforts were conducted on the proper organization of outpatient monitoring for patients with endocrine diseases, as well as on-site examinations of critically ill patients.
As part of the events, Dr. T.T. Kamalov, a doctor of medical sciences, appeared on local television and spoke to the general public about the importance of the work being carried out, its long-term impact on public health, and the importance of early diagnosis of endocrine diseases.
It was once again emphasized that the measures being taken are aimed at protecting public health, early diagnosis of endocrine diseases, and the prevention of complications.
