As part of the "Day of Spiritual Uplift and Patriotism," the Namangan Regional Emergency Management Agency held a seminar on "Obesity and Its Negative Consequences" with the participation of specialists from the regional endocrinology service.
Gumoyunmirzo Abduganievich Dzhalilov, head of the admissions department at the Namangan branch of the Yo.X.Turakulov Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Endocrinology, participated in the event and presented a detailed report on the causes of obesity, its impact on the body, and preventative measures.
During the seminar, participants were given an explanation of how excess weight creates the preconditions for the development of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and other chronic illnesses, as well as the importance of a healthy diet, physical activity, and regular medical examinations. Participants received detailed answers to their questions from a specialist.
