In accordance with the Minister of Health's Order № 335 of 31.11.2025, on holding the mass event "Health Marathon," a "Health Marathon" will be held in Andijan from 28.02.2026, aimed at medical prevention, early diagnosis of diseases, and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle.
As part of this event, on February 19, at Family Clinic № 3 in Andijan, K. V. Komilionova, an employee of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Endocrinology (RSSPMCE), and O. M. Rakhmonov, a specialist from the branch, conducted an in-depth medical examination and screening of the population.
During the survey, 27 patients were examined, of whom 14 (one newly diagnosed) had diabetes mellitus, one had prediabetes, three had obesity, two had diffuse goiter, and one had thyrotoxicosis.
The surveys assessed the population's health, identified early signs of various diseases, and provided each citizen with medical consultations and personalized recommendations for a healthy lifestyle. In addition, educational activities were conducted for family physicians on the prevention, early diagnosis, and monitoring of endocrine diseases.
The "Health Marathon" is gaining significant significance as an important initiative that contributes to improving the population's medical awareness, fostering responsibility for their own health, and disease prevention.
Another training seminar was also held as part of the "Patient Pathway for Family Physicians and Medical Teams on the 6 Most Common Endocrine Diseases" seminar. Ten family physicians, 12 community and practical nurses, one endocrinologist, and three specialized specialists from medical teams participated in the seminar. They were trained in the six most common types of endocrine diseases worldwide: diabetes mellitus, diabetes insipidus, diabetic ketoacidosis, diffuse euthyroidism, and obesity. They were also taught algorithms for appropriate patient referrals, community nursing, and monitoring of medical teams, as well as collaboration between family physicians and specialized specialists.
Seminars on these 6 diseases continue in the city districts according to the established schedule!
