On February 16, the Committee on Interethnic Relations held a roundtable discussion on "Online Tour of Uzbekistan with Compatriots Abroad." The event was organized both in person and online. Representatives of regional khokimiyats, friendship societies, partner organizations, the Public Foundation, compatriots abroad, and Sirijiddin Suyun Kholmuminov, representing the Endocrinology Center, participated.
The goal of the event was to strengthen ties with compatriots abroad, bring them closer to Uzbekistan, and provide information on ongoing reforms and new opportunities in the country.
During the online tour, participants learned about Uzbekistan's historical and cultural heritage, ancient cities, and tourism potential. Issues of enhancing the country's prestige and strengthening cooperation with compatriots were also discussed.
