A NEW STAGE OF YOUTH POLICY: A HEALTHY GENERATION AND MEDICAL REFORMS
An open dialogue with young people, held at the Koksaroy residence with the participation of our head of state, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, once again demonstrated the essence of the reforms being implemented in our country. Among the proposed initiatives, along with youth education, employment, and entrepreneurship, were also identified as priority issues of creating a healthy generation and modernizing the medical sector.
Today, young people make up the majority of our country's population. Therefore, national development, economic growth, and social stability directly depend on a healthy, educated, and professionally competitive generation.
Healthy youth – a guarantee of sustainable development
At this new stage of youth policy, special attention is paid to prevention, early diagnosis, and improving medical awareness. Promoting a healthy lifestyle, expanding sports infrastructure, and improving the quality of primary healthcare are the demands of our time.
In particular, protecting reproductive health, supporting maternal and child health, and preventing chronic non-communicable diseases have been elevated to the level of state policy. These measures will contribute to improving the quality of the workforce in the long term.
Medical Education and Human Resources
Priority objectives of the reforms include aligning medical education with international standards, equipping clinical facilities with modern equipment, and expanding the activities of simulation centers.
Education is of particular importance in the medical field. By combining theory and practice, young doctors will be able to develop clinical decision-making skills from an early age.
Important factors in the development of the industry include support for young specialists, the allocation of grants for scientific research, and the funding of innovative medical projects.
Innovation and Digital Medicine
Digitalization is rapidly being implemented in the healthcare system. The introduction of electronic medical records, telemedicine, and diagnostic systems based on artificial intelligence is taking the quality of care to a new level.
By supporting youth startups, we facilitate the implementation of new projects in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and medical information technology. This enhances our country's potential as a regional hub for medical innovation.
Scientific Research and Responsibility
Important components of the reforms include increasing the participation of young scientists in fundamental and applied medical research, expanding international scientific collaboration, and improving clinical protocols based on the principles of evidence-based medicine.
Healthy youth are the foundation of a strong state.
Reforms in medicine are a crucial investment in human capital.
Opportunities are being created.
Results now depend on knowledge, responsibility, and dedication.
The Association will continue to actively participate in this process at the scientific, practical, and public levels.
