On 31.03.2026, the UMID-D Samarkand Charity Center for People with Diabetes, together with the Samarkand Branch of the Endocrinology Center, organized a distribution of medications and medical supplies to 55 patients with type 1 diabetes.
This event was implemented with financial support from the Public Fund for the Support of Civil Society Institutions under the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
As part of the event, patients with diabetes received essential medical supplies and medications worth over 1,800,000 soums each. The contract stipulated assistance for 50 people, but we decided to waive transportation costs and add five more people to the list, raising an additional 422,000 soums.
