As part of a state grant for the topic "Development of a Methodology for Biological Monitoring in Iodine Deficiency Risk Groups and Updating Diagnostic and Treatment Algorithms," medical examinations were conducted in the Kashkadarya region from April 7 to 10. During the event, 1,600 students in grades 1-5 (ages 7-12) underwent medical examinations, and thyroid ultrasounds were also performed.
