In order to practically implement the objectives of "improving public health" outlined in Statement № 63, adopted by the esteemed President on December 24, 2025, the chief physician of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Endocrinology named after Academician Y.X.Turakulov, physician-supervisor of the Xorezm region, G.D. Narimova, visited the region from April 20-22 and, together with district curators of 4 districts (Khiva, Khazorasp, Shovot and Gonk), talked with doctors who had completed seminars on treatment of the 6 most common endocrine diseases among the population, and assessed their level of knowledge. Existing problems were analyzed on-site through discussions with family physicians and endocrinologists. The list of endocrine diseases monitored by endocrinologists was reviewed. The movement of medications used for reimbursement was monitored. Each district supervisor was assigned a list of patients with the KVP and OF levels covered by the medications. Patients with complex diagnoses seeking treatment at the outpatient clinic were jointly examined, and the necessary recommendations were provided. The work and proposals planned for Khorezm in 2026 were discussed with the head of the All-Russian Society of Endocrinologists. A meeting was held at the situation center organized at the branch with the participation of the central supervisor of the Khorezm endocrinology system, G.D. Narimova; the head of the branch, G.K. Goibov; and 33 branch and district endocrinologists to monitor the work being carried out in the districts. A seminar on new opportunities in diabetes treatment was also held.
