Prevention, early diagnosis, and effective control of endocrine diseases are among the current priorities. In this regard, systematic work is being carried out by the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Endocrinology named after Academician Y.X.Turakulov and its regional branches. From May 5-8, 2026, an interactive meeting was held with the Head of the Center's Neuroendocrinology Department, Doctor of Medical Sciences A.O. Kholikova, and the curators of the regional branch. Issues of clinical monitoring, screening processes, and statistical reporting were discussed, and specific measures were identified.
A practical seminar and interview were also organized for family physicians and visiting nurses from the Mirishkor, Yakkabog, and Nishansky districts.
Current issues in this area were also discussed at a meeting with the heads of district medical associations.
