From July 8 to 11 of this year, in order to ensure the fulfillment of the instruction of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 24.12.2025,
practical work began in the Samarkand region to further accelerate the digitalization of medicine and fully implement the unified medical information system "D-MED."
In this regard, specialists from the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Endocrinology analyzed the current situation with industry leaders at the branch of the Samarkand Regional Center for Digital Health (Situation Center).
During the meeting, priority tasks were discussed, including patient monitoring using a digital system, online monitoring of medical institutions, expanding telemedicine capabilities, and improving the quality and effectiveness of medical services to the population.
These efforts represent an important step toward the development of a modern, transparent, and patient-oriented healthcare system in the Samarkand region.
