Uzbekistan-Kyrgyzstan: Strengthening Strategic Cooperation in Endocrine Surgery
A delegation from the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Endocrinology visited the Mambet Mamakeev National Surgical Center under the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The delegation, led by Lutfiyor Abdurakhimov, discussed prospects for further development of bilateral cooperation, the exchange of experience in endocrine surgery, advanced training for specialists, and the implementation of joint scientific and practical projects.
During the visit, the delegation also learned about modern methods in nuclear medicine.
In particular, they examined the use of radiopharmaceuticals based on lutetium-177, samarium-153, and radioactive iodine-131, advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies, and innovative approaches to the treatment of endocrine diseases.
Following the meeting, agreements were reached on the consistent continuation of mutual cooperation, the establishment of an exchange of doctors, support for scientific research, and the widespread introduction of modern medical technologies into practice.
