The first stage of comprehensive research in Samarkand has been completed.
The first stage of comprehensive research conducted by a working group of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Endocrinology in the Samarkand Region has been completed.
A general videoconference meeting held to mark the occasion was chaired by the center's director, Professor A. Alimov, who leads the working group.
During the meeting, a detailed analysis of the research results conducted in district and city medical institutions in the region was conducted. Issues related to improving endocrinology care in primary healthcare, increasing the effectiveness of early disease diagnosis and follow-up, and elevating screening measures to a new level were discussed.
Priority areas for digitalization of the healthcare system, the effective use of electronic information systems, expanding telemedicine capabilities, increasing the participation of healthcare workers in international advanced training programs, implementing modern diagnostic and treatment standards, and improving management efficiency were also identified.
During the discussions, the working group presented a detailed analysis of the problems and shortcomings identified locally and provided appropriate instructions to those responsible for addressing them.
As noted, the primary goal of the study is not limited to identifying existing problems but is aimed at developing practical solutions and improving the quality of healthcare in the regions.
The working group is currently continuing its work in the Samarkand region. The next stages of the study will include ongoing monitoring of the implementation of the assigned objectives, the practical results of the proposed measures, and ongoing reforms in healthcare facilities.
