A practical step towards digital medicine!
A Ministry of Health working group is currently conducting practical work on digitalization, the effective implementation of the Unified Medical Information System in the Andijan region, and the full utilization of its capabilities.
▫️Deputy Director of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Endocrinology, Lutfiyor Abdurakhimov, is also actively involved in this intensive process.
In particular, a practical meeting was held with the institution's management, doctors, and medical staff of the Andijan Regional Infectious Diseases Hospital.
The effectiveness of the Unified Medical Information System, its functionality, the electronic conduct of medical processes, and existing challenges were discussed in detail.
It should be noted that this work is aimed at expanding the use of digital technologies in medical institutions, further improving management and medical processes, and enhancing the practical effectiveness of digitalization in line with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On additional measures to accelerate the digitalization of the healthcare system and the introduction of advanced digital technologies" dated December 28, 2023.
During the meeting, medical workers were provided with practical and technical assistance in working with the system, and appropriate solutions were identified to address identified issues on-site.
