August 14, 2026. For human dignity! Curator of the endocrinology service of the Namangan region, the Center named after Academician E.Kh. Turakulov of the Russian Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Epidemiology and Epidemiology, endocrinologist Nabiev Sh.O. and a specialist of the Namangan Regional Endocrinology Dispensary: endocrinologist Sh. Mamatkulov, endocrinologist Ya. Mamatkulova from the Norinsky Regional Clinical Hospital, in order to ensure the implementation of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP-102 of January 26, 2022 "On measures to improve and expand the scope of endocrinology services", a screening examination for the early detection of diabetes mellitus among the population over 40 years of age was conducted at the MCP under the auspices of the Norinsky District Medical Association under the motto "For the benefit of humanity". A total of 81 people were screened during the screening examination. Of these, 13 were overweight, 1 in 5 was obese, 3 had stage 2 obesity, 1 had stage 3 obesity, and 18 had hypertension. Diabetes mellitus was newly diagnosed in 4 patients, prediabetes in 5 patients, nodular goiter in 2 patients, and diffuse endemic goiter in 11 patients. Endocrinologists provided necessary recommendations to those newly diagnosed with diabetes. Additionally, a training seminar on screening and 6 types of endocrine nosological diseases was held in the afternoon, attended by 48 family physicians and 127 nurse assistants.
