For human dignity! On August 8-9 with initiative of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan and single integrator “UZINFOCOM” LLC, a two-day seminar was organized in Khorezm region in order to get acquainted with the work being done on the digitization of the health sector.
At the seminar, Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan O. Omonov, Lutfiyor Abdurakhimov, Deputy Director of Digitization, Innovations and International Relations of Republican Specialized Endocrinology Scientific and Practical Medical Center named Academician Yo.Kh. Torakulov, UZINFOCOM's Deputy Director for Healthcare Digitization and regional technical service staff and heads of regional healthcare departments took part.
The participants of the seminar visited a number of district hospitals and got acquainted with the unified medical information system DMED and the unified system for recording oncological diseases "Cancer Register". In addition, a seminar-training for heads of regional health departments and IT-nurses was held in the building of the Urganch IT-Park branch. At the end of the seminar-training, IT nurses actively participating in the digitalization of healthcare were awarded.
The main goal of this seminar is to provide participants with change management strategies to facilitate the implementation of digital health systems in their organizations, to provide information on best international practices and examples of successful implementation of digital health solutions, and to educate participants on the long-term implementation of digital health initiatives. was to teach how to create sustainability plans to support their success.
