For human dignity! On November 11, 2024, endocrinologist M.Olimova, nurse I.Nurmahammadova of Fergana branch of RSNPMCE named after academician E.H.Turakulov took part in the dispensary activities held in “Dehkan market” of Kuva district. During the event to detect diabetes mellitus in the population over 40 years of age was conducted medical examination, 102 citizens were screened (the list is attached). Also, a free examination of blood sugar was carried out.
During the medical examination 7 citizens were found to have prediabetes, 35 citizens were found to be obese, and 3 citizens were found to have type 2 diabetes mellitus. The principles of rational nutrition and treatment were explained to them, and additional examinations with overweight patients on healthy lifestyle and proper nutrition were recommended.
