On November 14, 2024 in Navoi Endocrinology Dispensary, on the occasion of “November 14 - World Diabetes Day”, the dispensary staff conducted screening activities among 220 residents over 40 years old in densely populated areas of the city. region in “Sakhovat Bazar” LLC and “Yangi Hayet” hypermarket. As a result of the screening, 3 residents were diagnosed with diabetes mellitus, 18 with prediabetes, and 24 with obesity. The staff provided residents with information on healthy lifestyle and proper nutrition, as well as handouts.
