For human dignity! In accordance with the implementation of the Presidential Decree № PP-102 of January 26, 2022, employees of the Andijan branch of the Republican Specialized Endocrinological Scientific and Practical Medical Center on November 15 as part of the diabetic month, in the mosque “Mirpostin Ota” of Andijan city, the risk group over 40 years old, who came to perform Friday prayers, 34 believers were examined for early detection of diabetes and prediabetes, as well as checked the level of free sugar in the blood. Fifteen (44.0%) of them were diagnosed with prediabetes. Medical recommendations were also given on early detection of diabetes mellitus, adherence to a healthy lifestyle, proper nutrition of the population, and booklets on healthy lifestyle were distributed.
