In order to ensure the implementation of the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from January 26, 2022 № PK-102 “On measures to improve and expand the sphere of endocrinology service” and “Month of struggle against diabetes mellitus” in the framework of the research specialists of Namangan branch of RSNPMCE named after academician E.H.Turakulov conducted screening testing of the population over 40 years old at the farmer's market “Chorsu” of Namangan city to detect diabetes mellitus, blood sugar was measured in 200 citizens. Of them, 8 people were diagnosed with diabetes mellitus for the first time, and 10 people were diagnosed with prediabetes. On the same day, people were promoted healthy eating, healthy lifestyle and physical activity.
