In order to implement the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from January 26, 2022 № PP-102 Deputy Chief Physician of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Endocrinology Acad. E.H.Turakulov, Doctor of medical sciences Narimova G.D. together with the staff of the Khorezm branch on 25.11.24 conducted screening monitoring in Tuprokkala and Khozarasp districts, identified shortcomings and defined ways to eliminate them, in Khozarasp district multi-network medical association held a meeting among medical workers, where the essence of screening, its shortcomings and problems were discussed. Within the framework of sugar month, on November 26, 150 people were screened at the family polyclinic #64 in the remote area of Yangibozor district for early detection of diabetes mellitus and prediabetes among the district residents. risk group over 40 years old, 38 (29.2%) of them were overweight, obesity - in 26 people (20%), prediabetes - in 4 people. (3.1%) and 1 person (0.8%) was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus, blood sugar levels were checked and treatment plans were determined based on the final conclusions. The population was informed about healthy lifestyle, proper nutrition and physical activity.
A seminar was held with the participation of all branch endocrinologists and district endocrinologists. At the seminar, first of all, existing difficulties and problems in screening were identified and discussed. Narimova G.D. presented his conclusions on screening monitoring, the report of the branch for 11 months was discussed, the topic of modern trends in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus was presented.
