The Ministry of Health, the Institute for Advanced Medical Education, and the Bukhara Regional Health Department continue to train primary care physicians and nurses in the district and city in a narrow range of specialties, mainly in early detection of endocrinological diseases. The main activities were screening for and early detection of diabetes, organizing a diabetes school to educate and train the public, and conducting classes on diagnosis and treatment so that diabetes can be controlled without complications. The classes were conducted by a senior lecturer of the Institute for Advanced Training of Doctors, Candidate of Medical Sciences Khaydarova R.T. and endocrinologist Mustafaev A.H., a doctor of Bukhara Regional Endocrinology Dispensary. A seminar on “Increasing the culture of healthy lifestyle and proper nutrition among the population” was held. At the end of the session, full and informative answers to the questions asked were given.
